I recently visited Athenian Salon & Academy for a haircut based on a recommendation from a friend, who specifically suggested a stylist known for working well with men's long hair. Unfortunately, the stylist wasn't available on the day of my visit. I asked if there was anyone experienced with long hairstyles for men, and a stylist named Thakur stepped in. While I appreciated his willingness, it was clear he lacked the experience required for this type of cut. Unfortunately, the end result did not meet my expectations, and the haircut didn't turn out well. However, I must mention the positive attitude of the lady at the front desk, who noticed my concern and kindly offered to give the haircut a final touch-up herself. Her effort helped improve the overall result, and I truly appreciated her professionalism and care. The salon itself is quite spacious compared to other places in the area, which adds to the comfort of the experience. However, the pricing is definitely on the higher side for a men's haircut. While I wouldn't mind paying a premium for the right result, it's important that the expertise matches the cost--especially for more specific styles like long hair for men. Overall, Athenian Salon & Academy might be a good place, especially when your preferred stylist is available. I'd consider returning in the future, but only with the assurance that the right stylist is on hand to achieve the desired look.

This was my second time , the first time everything was decent but the second time , i got multiple cuts on my face , i am sorry i am not a person who usually gives negative reviews but my face is so bruised with only the eyebow threading and upper and lower lip hair removal i couldn't have the heart to go for face cleanup or hair spa. I don't know i would probably think i was unlucky. But even after two days the cuts in my face burns when put on moisturiser

One of best salon at a reasonable price range in tinsukia. I had a great experience here. The staff here are very good and really polite & friendly. I will definitely visit again.

I am very satisfied with the service. Ms Sobha did a great job on eyebrows and hair cut. However, I feel I was charged a bit extra for a haircut without spa. I would appreciate if you can upload your prices here, so that the next time I visit I can assure I am charged the exact amount.

Excellent service! Love the hospitality of the staff. Silu gave me a beautiful makeover. I showed her a reference picture as an inspo for my haircut. She made sure I was satisfied with the outcome. Special thanks to Ganesh for getting my charger from the car since I couldn't fetch myself as I had colour streaks on my hair. Also thanks to Bornali for her magic hands..I had the best pedicure experience in a long time! Just had one concern with the hair colour. I went for Global highlight in the burgundy family without bleach but unfortunately colour started fading in the very first wash. That was a bit disappointing had I known before that colours in bright tone tends to fade early. I would suggest this be informed to the customers in advance so that one can pick dyes smartly since it's a time consuming process and heavy on the pockets. Having said that, I am glad to find a salon in Tinsukia where the service is truly A1 and I will definitely come back again
