visited Honey Beauty Lounge, Kottiyam branch today with my daughter, and the experience was quite disappointing. Our original appointment was cancelled without proper communication and rescheduled two days later. Despite having booked weeks in advance, we were left waiting for hours just to begin my treatment, while my daughter hadn't even been attended to. The core issue seems to be the lack of a proper booking system--walk-in clients were prioritized over those with appointments, making the whole process chaotic and unfair. The staff lacked professionalism and attributed service issues to the limitations of the rented building. You can always expect "unexpected delays" due to technical problems, which seems to be a common excuse I this centre. While the hair treatment I received was "okay," the long wait and travel time made it hardly worth it. Compared to my experiences with both local and international salons, the same quality of service could be found elsewhere--with far better hospitality. Another concern was the frequent staff changes during the treatment. Multiple staff members handled my hair, making me question whether the steps were done correctly. Their conversations in their local language seemed to shift blame among themselves, which didn't inspire confidence. Overall, I feel the salon is overhyped by Instagram reels that don't reflect the actual service quality. The glowing reviews might even be sponsored, as I noticed several other dissatisfied customers waiting as well. Due to the delays, I couldn't complete all the hair and skin treatments I had planned. I won't be recommending this salon to my friends or family.

Hi all 24/11/24 I visited the Varkala Outlet, I did a haircut and glam protein spa, it was a worth enough as a blr residents to come to do this, Miss Chitra and her team with great customer service, I really loved the entire environment, worth it guys. Thank you so much, and moreover affordable. U guys are amazing.

I visited there for my haircut.the reception are is very unhygeinic.and the white cloth on the sofa was in yellow shade .they charge 500 rupees for normal haircut..before that they did hair wash .very pathetic service.the staff is not even well trained.i dont know how she washed my hair..just pour water over hair.and apply shampoo or somthi g like that.and later another staff came and cut my hair.just need a normal straight cut.she had done .and after look was not satisfying..hair was in zig zag shape..i dint like there service

I had an excellent experience at honey's parlour at Varkala.All staffs were professional and attentive, making me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. I opted for a facial and a hair spa , and both treatments exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking to pamper themselves!

A not so great end to a lovely holiday. I am malayalee but born and brought up upbroad so I guess when I speak you can tell from my accent. I've been here before and avoided for a few years due the money grabbing attitude from staff. I tried it again today and it's safe to say I will definitely not return again. Having dealt with the owner first hand I know how sincere and trustworthy she is but cannot say same for her staff. I was told they have nothing to show of the services provided I.e a booklet showcasing a menu but was verbally informed of facials starting from 1000 when I spoke. This was initially as it jumped to 1500 once we walked inside and spoke. Apparently this is a basic facial price and I should do a Japanese facial of 4500 to detan to see a difference. Firstly do not assume a darker skinned person equals detanning USP - you just cemented the lack of deceny in your customer service and awareness. We stuck to the 1500 facial as we were dropped off by someone who had errands to run and had no means go get home. Since the family member said they would be longer I enquired about an anti dandruff spa and was told 1000 starting for all hair spa and treatments. Fair enough I expect a lot but it was just a cream applied to the scalp and nothing else. Waste of time and money. I don't appreciate being taken advantage off and paying more because the staff think foreigners are an easy target. I saw the book the staff was writing payments in and saw things on there for less than 1000. Please train your staff common manners and etiquette. Such a shame as I do like the owner and her work. If your local I guess this place is OK because I guess you cannot be conned, or I hope you do not. Worst customer service I have experienced in a salon thus far.

Pedicure and manicure is the worst here, literally it seems like our money is a joke to them, the pedicure lady just soaked my feet in the water for 10 mins and just shaped my nails and told me it's over like what the hell!???? Is this why I paid you? It was so awful my feet wasn't even cleaned it was just washed with water. The manicure was even worse I had to tell them again that it is not right and it needs more cleaning, they don't even do anything to the cuticles, Ive done better pedicure and manicure in other countries and so as in India but this beauty lounge is just so bad. This could have been done way more easier at home please don't waste your money here in honey beauty lounge for pedicure and manicure it is the most worst decision I have ever made.

I loved all the service given me in HONEYS VARKALA. I felt so relaxed and comfy with their ambience and friendly staff. I really loved their head massage. All teams are so nice and friendly..i strongly recommend HONEYS.
