NANDADEVI FOUNDATION

The Nandadevi Foundation -Aliourduar an affiliated Mountaineering Club of the Indian Mountaineering Foundation.New Delhi and Registered under the Societies Registration Act.Govt.of West Bengal is a leading voluntary Organisation committed to the promotion of Adventure amongst Youths. Club hasbeen conducting Rock Climbing TrIning Camp and Adventure Study Camp atJainti.Alipurduar since 1986 and has also been organising High Altitude Trekking programme in different Parts of Himalayas.

NANDADEVI FOUNDATION was established by some nature lovers and mountaineers of Dooars in 1986. The organization is affiliated to Indian Mountaineering Foundation, New Delhi which is under the ministry of defence. The main slogan of NANDADEVI FOUNDATION is '' LOVE NATURE - FELL NATURE. '' NDF has been organizing ADVENTURE CAMP for children to increases their attraction to the nature and they also has been organizing ROCK CLIMBING CAMP for youths to teach the rules and techniques to climb the mountain since 1986. The organization is also associated with many social works. They have arranged for Girls to learn tailoring and beautician courses. There are also different training courses for youths. They have done many high altitude trekking and successful Expedition at different parts of the Himalayas. The organization has been organizing ADVENTURE CAMP and ROCK CLIMBING CAMP from 26th DECEMBER TO 31st DECEMBER every year at Jayanti.
