This place hold nostalgic memories for me... I first went there when I was in school hostel, a long back with my parents, may be it was every other weekend even.... Since then it has been a long year ... Recently again I went there and again the nostalgia was enormous... Found it to have the same hospitality and the ambience... Although it has upgraded with time and has adapted itself to the time... The restaurant has also expanded itself from the initial stage but the soothing atmosphere, soothing aquarium and it's lovely fish collection is still there... Recent again I went with my family and found the ambience and the staff attendance and service excellent... As I was suffering from cold, they provided me with hot water and took good care of me... The food was excellent as always and was served in time...

Hotel Samrat in Srirampur is a hidden gem for biryani lovers. Their mutton biryani is absolutely brilliant -- tender meat, fragrant rice, and just the right hit of spice. Excellent dining experience at Serampore. Not very expensive though. We are really happy with their food quality. We ordered a plate of fish fingers along with peas pulav and mutton. They served them quickly. The food was less spicy but tasted good. We enjoyed it a lot.

Recently we visited here Ambience was warm and soothing. Service was also good and staffs behaviour was really good . Comming to food we have ordered fish kabiraji ,masala kulcha, butter garlic nun and Chicken tikka butter masala .Taste wise if I say fish kabiraji was average but kulcha and chicken tikka butter masala were really good. Staffing of the kulcha was delicious .We really enjoyed the food. Samrat hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking for flavorful and satisfying multi cuisine restaurant .I will definitely recommend this.

Had our lunch here in this place. Ordered the Veg Thali. It was a pleasant experience . Tidy, neat and clean. Ambience is good enough. Overall a good quality restaurant! Edit: Ordered Chicken Do-Pyaza & ButterTandoori Roti on my second visit and as expected, everything from Food, Quality, Service, was still the best. Got our meal served hardly within a few minutes from ordering

I have been eating at SAMRAT for almost 12 years, SAMRAT's food and Babusona Ghosh & others staff are incredibly flexible, something you can't find anywhere else.
