Lack of staff is always a problem. Also I think they only have 1 professional staff remaining are just trainee. I had taken a package of 10000 in which they gave 20% discount on all services but I regretted depositing this money later. I will share 3 incident which was a real disappointment. 1. I went for hair trim. I asked for hair wash and then trimming. But they didn't have staff so first I had to wait for almost 20 min. Then they finally assigned someone. That person didn't wash my hair saying, it is not needed. I insisted once but then she again repeated and asking again felt like I was being a bad person. So she trimmed it and then she didn't also set my hairs. It was a disaster. Highly unprofessional and uncaring. They don't even have small mirrors to check eyebrows after threading. When asked about it, they say no one keeps a small mirror. What I also hated is their attitude. For every mistake or shortcomings they blame customers. For a salon with such name and such high prices, it is an unacceptable behaviour. If you want good services go to some other salon. Don't go here.

My hair color turned out exactly the way I wanted--vibrant, shiny, and perfectly blended. The waxing service was quick, hygienic, and done with care. And the hair spa? Truly relaxing! My hair felt so soft and nourished afterwards. A special mention to the management team--everything was well-organized and timely. Lack of professionalism. Money minded, but refuse to invest any for customers. Don't accept cards. Refuse to use lukewarm water for hair wash in summers. Keep the AC turned off in the morning, and when asked they say AC is not working. These are just to mention you a few number of cheapness they do and they call themselves PROFESSIONAL SALON! Work wise it depends on the stylist you are assigned to, may or may not be good, and so does your experience. But service wise TERRIBLE PATHETIC CHEAP are only few words to describe. Hope the owner knows people are aware of the standards of a proper professional salon and give some effort to upgrade the whole customer service experience

They r just money minded. I went there today for hair straightening with prior appointment. But after reaching they quoted me over price.. they simply mislead people for their benifits. I booked an appointment @ 3500, but after reaching the scene was totally different. They constantly forced me to do some other treatments.. but i refused the offer n went to a different parlour. Totally unprofessional

Just had a fabulous experience at Athenian Salon, Zoo Road! I went in for a hair treatment and hair color, and I'm seriously in love with how my hair turned out. The hair treatment gave my hair a beautiful softness and shine--it felt like a total transformation. The stylist really understood my hair type and gave it exactly what it needed. The color was spot on! It looks fresh, modern, and really suits me. I've had so many compliments already. The process was smooth, and the products they used felt gentle but effective. The salon itself is lovely--neat, peaceful, and gives off those perfect "me-time" vibes. The staff was super sweet and took care of every little detail. If your hair is due for some TLC or a fresh pop of color, definitely give Athenian Salon Zoo Road a visit. You won't regret it!

Mixed Experience at Athenian I had high hopes for Athenian based on the positive reviews I read online. While the staff were polite and the services decent, I ultimately left feeling disappointed. Also having taken services at the best salons in the other states, I feel that one has experience with such things around and has clarity about the market situation. Here are a few points- 1. Pre-payment Policy: The requirement for pre-payment before the services felt unusual and somewhat off-putting. This limited my ability to fully assess the situation and potentially reconsider my decision. 2. Service Quality: While the services were acceptable, they didn't exceed my expectations. I didn't feel I received exceptional value for the price. 3. Pricing: I found the pricing to be quite high compared to the quality of service. I discussed this with the manager, but my concerns weren't fully addressed. Services taken- Waxing - it was simple Rica Waxing (no roll on/any thing advanced) Trimming (no hair wash included and was very basic) Eyebrows Conclusion - Athenian may excel in areas like hair treatments and makeup, but I wouldn't recommend it for routine beauty services. I believe the prices are currently unjustified. This review is intended to provide constructive feedback and help others make informed decisions.
