Following is a detailed review of my first experience in Globe Unisex Salon (on 2nd March 2023): I have been growing my hair since last year; recently I saw split ends and was worried as to what the problem was. I decided to check out various hair salons in my area. After visiting 2-3 salons in the DD Nagar, I finalized Globe salon based on rational explanations of my problem by the staff, non-pushy and frank nature of the staff, the approach of the staff to solve the issue in hand & finally the overall cost. Mr. Ajit Sen greeted me on my visit and explained what options do I have. He gave informative suggestions and explained the procedure of all the options in advance. I chose "Hair spa" along with hair trimming. Procedure: * Checking for split ends & trimming - Firstly, Ajit ji checked for the split ends and trimmed the hair simultaneously. He patiently looked into the hair and trimmed accordingly for almost 15-20 minutes, his eye for detail was admirable. * Shampoo - Next I was shifted to the shampoo chair where my hair was cleansed thoroughly. * Hair cream massage - After shampoo, hair cream was applied and a gentle massage ensued for a few minutes. I felt relaxed and cool. * Steaming - Next, a hair steamer was placed over my head for a couple of minutes. After that, I waited for a few seconds for the head to cool down. * Washing and drying - The hair cream was washed over in the shampoo chair and the hair was dried using a hair dryer. * Final styling - A hair serum was applied finally for a glossy finish and to capture the softness of the hair. The whole procedure took a total time of 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours approximately and it was a relaxing experience. I was asked for refreshments during the procedure. Ajit ji was very polite and answered to all my queries with patience. I can see by his techniques that he is good at what he does. I am quite satisfied with Ajit ji's service and overall atmosphere of the salon. The lady in the reception was polite and asked for my feedback after the service. Total cost: (Haircut - 150) + (Hair spa - 800) = 950 Other points: * Location - The shop is adjacent to the main DD Nagar road leading towards Gol chowk. It is near the main diversion road for Sector - 1. * Parking - Ample space for two wheeler parking in front of the shop but 4 wheelers can only be parked in front if there are no other vehicles. However, one can park adjacent or on the opposite side of the road. * Payment facility - UPI and cash options are readily available for payments. I'm not sure of debit/credit card facility. Few of my suggestions: * Accessibility - There is a single step to approach the shop and I guess one step is one too many. I request the Salon administration to build up a safety ramp to make it disabled friendly. * Hygiene - The reception area was neat and clean. However, the floor in the working area can be cleaned after every customer's Haircut is done, of course after taking consent of other customers. Overall, I would say that I had a great experience here in Globe salon and I will definitely recommend others to visit.

Amazing salon for both males and females, be it hair cut, hair colour, facial etc. they ensure hygiene and maintain privacy as well. You have to pay a lesser price if you become a member. The price is reasonable as well.

I really enjoyed the clean up service given by Raksha, specially the behaviour of staff and massage given by Raksha is really awesome. Services offered by them are relaxing and worth to visit

I recently visited this place for a haircut and threading, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service. The staff was incredibly supportive and ensured that my haircut was exactly how I wanted it. The place was spotless, well-equipped, and they use quality products. Everyone was polite and welcoming, making it the overall experience very pleasant. I'm definately looking forward to revisiting!
