Naraina Vihar

Naraina Area is divided into industrial, residential, and rural areas. The industrial area has a large focus on steel and electronics. The headquarters of the Steel Authority of India Limited and Border Roads Organisation are also situated in Naraina. Naraina Gaon is the rural area. Naraina is adjacent to the western segment of the Ring Road, Delhi between Dhaula Kuan and Rajouri Garden. Surrounding areas include: Delhi Cantt, Mayapuri, Inderpuri, Loha Mandi, Pusa (IARI), Shadipur Depot, and Patel Nagar.

Ah! This one is my local metro station. I go dere almost every day. This is on pink line. Beautifully made with steel railings n roof. Has lovely paintings n art work all around. Metro authorities hv done a great job by cleaning up d surroundings n beautifying the station with plants n small lawns. Exit from the lift at gate no 2 n u will know wot I m saying. From gate no 1 there is no problem getting an e rickshaw n reaching ur destination. Dere are many of them waiting all d time. Njoy reaching Naraina Vihar a very old colony of delhi..from 1967 onwards or may b even earlier.

Being on the Pink line, this is one of those stations which stays relatively empty and peaceful. Also, the fact that it is pretty close to my place means I take the Pink line to wherever I need to go, even for connecting metro trains. This station has all the amenities that a modern Metro station should have. Being a relatively small station also means you don't really need to walk much to get to the actual platforms, of which there are two - one that goes to Mayur Vihar and the other one that goes to Majlis Park. Take your pick!

very neat & clean Metro Station. Platform no 2 towards Majilis park Which is connected from rajori garden to dwarka route .Platform no 1 is towards to Shiv vihar .Ignou center is near by Nairaina vihar. 1.1 KM

Naraina metro station has started functioning now .. station is on pink line and accessible from both ring road and A block naraina vihar and close to naraina village too. It's an underground station. Lots of erickshaws are available outside station .
