I have been visiting vanitha Saloon for quite some time now.. and recently, I opted for their heena ( mehendi ) service.. saheela; the heena artist was incredibly skilled, i am impressed with her art. The next morning it got reddish maroon colour for which I have received many complimates. Apart from this it was my second time for gold facial at Vanitha.. and it is one of my favourite service from them. Shilpa is so welcoming and friendly. My skin felt so refreshed and glowing thank you so much shilpa; appreciate your efforts 'Highly Recommended'

I had a very disappointing experience yesterday, and I feel compelled to share it. Firstly, the customer service is subpar, particularly from the Malayali staff. From the moment you walk into the salon, you can see the staff sitting around with little interest in engaging with customers. This lack of attention severely undermines your confidence right from the start, as it's unclear whether they are staff members or clients themselves. While it's not a problem that they sit in the waiting area, the issue is that they don't even make an effort to welcome guests or engage with them in any friendly manner, which is a basic expectation. I had a spa treatment here a year ago and was extremely dissatisfied--it was the worst spa experience I've ever had compared to other salons I've visited over the years. I didn't complain at the time, as I thought it was just a one-off incident, but I didn't return or recommend the place to anyone. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of choosing this salon again recently, only because it's close to my house, and I thought I might have a better experience this time. However, I regret that decision. They offer "packages" that seem attractive at first, but in reality, there is no real difference compared to their regular services. While I don't mind the terms and conditions of their packages, it would be nice if they actually provided a better service in exchange for the money spent. I chose a facial and pedicure spa service. The staff member suggested I could upgrade to a GOLD facial for an additional AED 50, but I declined and opted for the normal facial which was included in my package. She led me to begin the facial, and the pedicure was fine, but nothing special compared to the normal pedicure that my mom received. I really don't understand how adding just a gel with a very simple massage and providing disposable slippers makes the service special--it is just a basic pedicure that any salon offers. But they claim its pedicure spa and takes 2 services from my package! When it was time to pay, the cashier informed me that I owed an additional AED 50 for the upgraded facial, which I had not requested. I explained that I had specifically asked for the normal facial. The cashier then took me to the staff member who had performed my facial, but she was busy with another client. The cashier explained the situation to her, and to my surprise, the staff member became aggressive, claiming that she had performed an AROMA facial (which I hadn't requested and which had not been confirmed with me beforehand). She also spoke rudely in Malayalam, saying, "just tell her to wait for 15 minutes, I can't come now," in an unprofessional tone. Little did she know i was standing right outside the cabinet and can hear her. The cashier seemed embarrassed and subtly indicated that I was standing nearby. Despite the situation, I chose not to react negatively, as I believe in maintaining basic respect and politeness even when others don't. I didn't argue because, in the end, I had no choice but to pay for a service I didn't consent to. My mother had planned to book a keratin treatment, but after this experience, we decided to cancel and booked our appointment at a place we trust. My request to the management is simple: Please monitor your staff more closely and ensure they understand that not all customers are first-timers. Many of us visit salons regularly and expect the same quality of service and professionalism we've received elsewhere. It's not just about convincing customers to upgrade their services--it's about providing the best possible experience for every client.
Recently had a great experience from here. Ms. Marcel did an amazing job with my hair spa and haircut. My hair feels soft and looks great.
