I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Jayu Ben and her team. Despite providing ample notice and confirmation calls for my bridal makeup and hair well in advance, I was left waiting for over two hours on my wedding day with no updates on when they would begin. I had clearly communicated multiple times that I needed to leave by a certain time, yet my appointment was continuously delayed. When I followed up, I was met with rude and dismissive responses. Ultimately, I chose to leave. The makeup trial I had previously received was cakey and average at best. I usually wouldn't leave a review, but this experience was so upsetting that it impacted a significant part of my wedding day, which was already stressful enough. Basically if you don't have personal connections with Jayu, you won't be prioritized despite confirmed appointments/ time slot.

I went to Jayu Aunty for my engagement makeup, and she did an amazing job! I felt so beautiful and confident. Her skill and attention to detail are incredible, and now I can't wait to go back for my bridal makeup. Highly recommend her for any special occasion!

I have been visiting Awa beauty studio since 20 years and I don't go to any other salon everytime. They are very professional, friendly and make sure they treat their clients like family. They have the understanding of a clients need which is very important to run a salon. Jayu is amazing and I am sure whoever gets their services at Awa won't be disappointed.

3rd anniversary of traumatic beauty salon experience. The owner "Jayuben" yaps a lot, entire staff keep gossiping and do not listen to the clients requests. Saree draping was joke, even any 15 years Indian girl can do better job . Keep bragging about her USA visits to show off . Cut corners, she charged me more even she didn't get me ready in the evening. Even I kept telling hairdresser to do lose messy bun she pulled tight all my hair in the evening. Lake of creativity. Very disappointed. I request all NRI Specifically, don't get in trap of this so called beauty parlor services to get ready for any of your important day in life. I promise they will ruin it. You can do better job by yourself. It's all highway robbery in the name of beauty parlor.
