HIVE SALON

Just had my first appointment here and loved every bit of my experience with HIVE and Deepak(artist) . The service was great, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the ambience was very pretty and elegant.

I went to Hive Salon, Karan Nagar for hair smoothening and global color for my wedding. Let me start from the beginning, I saw an ad from Hive salon offering some offers for hair smoothening, and once I reached there they didn't agree with smoothening and tried their level best to motivate and convince me for Kera smoothening. I somehow got convinced and agreed for Kera smoothening but I asked them for long hair since I had below hip length hair and was not at all interested to cut short my hair length. They charged me for long hair Kera smoothening and global color but they ( Receptionist and STYLIST- Namely Ali)are such cheaters, money minded and unprofessional people in the salon that their SO-CALLED STYLIST told me to come and he needs to trim a bit of hair and was ready to do all the services (HAIR SMOOTHENING, GLOBAL COLOR AND KERATIN) in just ONE DAY. I and my Sister asked them many times we have heard that after doing smoothening we need to keep at least a 15 to 20 days gap in between before doing hair color and Keratin but they denied it and said OFCOURSE, WE CAN DO ALL THE THREE SERVICES IN JUST HALF DAY. We were surprised to hear but thought they must know since they are working in a salon. My luck was good I reached late and didn't take any services and they suggested coming tomorrow at around 10 am and they will finish all the 3 services till 1 pm. But, unfortunately, I had still suffered a loss because Ali (Stylist) told me to come inside and he needs to trim little hair and tomorrow he will directly start hair color, smoothening, and Keratin) He chopped off my hair more than 8 to 9 inches short by saying he needs to trim a bit and left my hair from extra long to mid-length hair without even asking my consent and without informing me that my hair will be mid-length after cutting. To save his products, time, and energy they did such a level of cheating and didn't even think I have been doing so much care for the past 2 years to grow my hair long and give a beautiful long haircut for my wedding. I was so devastated and unhappy. I decided not to take any service from them after such a level of cheating and unprofessionalism. After doing such a level of cheating with me they were liable for a penalty. I asked them for a refund of 2k which I had already paid for long hair Kera smoothening and color. I requested the receptionist over the phone to transfer my advance amount to my account and I will give the receipt to Negeen Salon since it's nearby from my home which she didn't agree with at all and wanted me to come to Hive Salon, Karan Nagar only. While paying advance and taking services she was so flexible and was ready to offer services from Negeen Salon also and was ready to accept balance amount from any of their branches but suddenly her behavior completely changed once I asked for my advance refund. After having huge argument with the receptionist (Hive salon, Karan Nagar) I got a call from Hive Salon apologizing and requesting me to come and visit Hive, Negeen . I somehow agreed to visit Hive, Negeen Salon and spoke to Deepak( Hairstylist). He was shocked to see my before pictures with long hair and now with mid-length hair with so much uneven hair length and I asked him if it was possible to get all the services ( Smoothening, Color, and Keratin) on the same day. He straight away said '' NO MA'AM, we need to wait at least for 15 to 20 days after smoothening, and then you can take Hair color service and then after 5 days gap at least you can take Keratin service. I am writing this very long review just to tell other girls who go to any salon and spend hard-earned money thinking that it would be worthy but get cheated by such kind of unprofessional salon and staff. I got suffered by Hive Salon, Karen Nagar. BEWARE OF HIVE SALON, KARAN NAGAR. Deepak from Hive salon, Negeen is a stylist who exactly knows about his profession and gives exceptional services.

Nigeen branch is good. Beware of the karanagar branch. They would employ every trick in their book to lure you into buying higher packages. They get a cut out of each customer package so it's more of a sales troupe than a service provider.

Not at all worth the money. If you are taking 350 for a haircut then please make sure the haircut is worth it. The cleanliness is also below average and barbers do haircut in a hurry. Won't recommend at all

Highly overpriced. 300 for a haircut that is done in hurry. 150 for beard. It took the barber 30 minutes to do both. It was very average, below average. A complete waste of money

"I just went to HIVESALON for the first time! I started looking online and searching for a new hairstylist. I found HIVESALON, Master Hair Stylist. I read all the reviews I could find and I was confident that HIVESALON would be the right salon to see. From the moment I walked into salon I knew I was in the right place. Staff is very nice and welcoming. Right away I could sense that they are very confident of there skills and knowledgeable when it comes to hair. They listened to my expectations and made there recommendations as to what they saw and what they could do to improve my hair. It was nice seeing someone who enjoys his job and wants to make sure that everything that is done is to expectations of the client. In the couple hours of me being at salon I learned a lot about my hair and how to take care of it to make sure it always looks great. Once Mr deepak (hair stylist)was done I was extremely happy with the outcome. My color, cut and overall look was great. I was so happy to see my hair look so great and I loved everything that was done. I will definitely continue to see HIVESALON and I will recommend HIVESALON to everyone who want to have perfect hair color and style and other services. Thank you HIVESALON and I am looking forward to my next visit in future."

The staff is highly experienced and phenomenal. Had an amazing time. They know what they doing. Best beauty lounge in Srinagar. Rates and packages are amazing.
