I was her bride and I experienced two different kinds of makeup looks from her for my sangeet and my bridal look for the Wedding Day! I hadn't slept a blink before my sangeet, I wasn't able to keep my eyes open, my skin looked tired, I have my acne scars and a very oily skin. Not even once did she say anything about my skin or acted like one of those snooty artists who make you feel bad about your skin and then cover it up and feel glad about it! I kept saying I haven't slept and she said "my eye makeup will make you look awake in just a bit" and in the next ten minutes, she proved herself right! For my wedding day, I was running late, terribly late, she took her time and that's just art with experience that the makeup was on point and then she just rushed the other draping artists and stuff to make me get ready in time. It was again PERFECT!!!! I am a dusky woman and I never wanted to look "brighter" or "whitewashed", and she made my skin look flawless. The art is to be applauded and the behaviour and the staff are to be applauded as well! The people who drape your stuff and do hair, are also great with their expertise! The woman who did my hair both days, has a lot of precision. Her studio has the right people and all types of jugaad that professional people have! Jugaad reminds me, I had also lost my nath for my wedding day and I was super upset, about to cry kind of! And she called some of her contacts, I took a rental nathiya on spot but it was one of a kind nathiya, that I needed to pull my look together. I have a small face, and a typical round big nathiya makes me look too traditional and I didn't want that. She didn't even try to make me feel like I'm asking for too much or I can avoid the situation by wearing something traditional. Just told me she will fix and she did! However much I applaud for how I felt there, is not enough! Can you imagine I wanna go back and get dolled up again by her? Just for fun? Just for having conversations and getting ready at the end to be completely awed! Loved you Isha di, loved the experience. For anyone who finds her expensive, coming from experience - as a bride you'll make your choices where to spend more and where to spend less. I may have spent less in terms of what gifting trays I'll buy or what return favours I'll plan for haldi, but I did not spend less on my lehenga, my jewellery or my makeup artist and the boutique where I got all my sarees, blouses, suits stitched from - my only conclusion: I paid a bit more than the usual market price, walked out with good, stress free experience and the results were worth the money, never felt looted! As a bride, have safe spaces where you won't feel stressed and the results matter to you! Isha di was just the same: professional, great human being, understood a bride and her tantrums, along with every other thing, had the capacity to manage a bride's crisis and then shoot a reel with one hand give you compliments while she's at it! She's phenomenal in my experience and I'll recommend her to everyone who is looking for the best service.
