YLG Salon / Jayanagar 7th Block

I have been a regular customer at YPG for 13+ years never had a single complaint. Not only me but every family member of mine has been visiting YLG across bangalore but the jayanagar 7th block branch is just pathetic. I had asked the stylist akash to give soft curls on my hair which is a naturally straight hair and he just straignened it more and charged me money for it when i complained about it he just said this is all that they can do to my hair I really am disappointed with YLG. And want strict action to be taken against the stylist

I have been a regular customer of YLG. I had been there recently for hairstyling. I called them to inquire about the prices and booked an appointment for me and my friend. But when after we got the hairstyling done, they told us a completely new and extravagant price. We tried to reason with them about why they didn't inform us on call, but they gave no proper response. Was extremely disappointed and did not go back there since that.

I had the worst experience at hair colouring here. I have always loved ylg and prefer going there for their quality service but this branch is absolutely inexperienced and provides low quality service. I went for a haircut and received a cash back voucher. The haircut specialist there recommended to get a root touch up to cover my greys. I went back in a couple of weeks for root touch up and the hair colour stylist says it will not cover my greys and i will have to get a double root touch up to cover the greys and claimed to do it amazingly. I had gone to get a root touch up since the stylist earlier had mentioned it would be sufficient to cover my greys since i was not keen on getting balayage or global done, but now they were asking me to do double service hence increasing the bill amount. If that was the case they should have clearly told it the first time and i wouldn't have even gone there to do it, now since i had already wasted my time i agreed to get it done. I agreed to the colour she suggested although i hesitated on the colour she convinced me it would look great and I was so disappointed with the outcome. i had colour all over my forehead and over my cheek and ears. It looked like i had used some cheap black dye to cover my greys. I guess i could have done a better job myself at home. If this is how professional their stylist is then i would rather do it better myself! I also had my friend get a men's haircut and the stylist was so inexperienced, he took an hour to just trim the hair and also did an horrible job at it, we had to ask him to let it be and not continue since he was ruining the style. They did charge the entire amount for the haircut though! This experience has made me decide to never go back to YLG ever again! Pay a little more get a good service at a good salon!

I went in for a hairwash and service was good... But , they haven't maintained the place... There was hair stuck to hair handles , below the chair you can find enough hair to make wigs ! Extremely dirty ... The towels aren't fresh... Cleanliness is something they don't know !

The entire process took around 6 hours, yet he wasn't in a rush or trying to finish quickly. He paid close attention to every detail, ensuring the best results. The outcome was truly unexpected and pleasantly surprising--my hair feels healthier, smoother, and looks fantastic. I highly recommend Amar for his professionalism and skill!

Appointments have no meaning here . Customers are made to wait half an hour or more even after appointments are taken . Half the equipments aren't working too . Ylg needs to look into this branch and it's falling standards.
