Unisex saloon with ample parking hair cut was fine but they charge too much for clean up. I tried normal clean up which was hardly for 20 mins and charged me Rs 750. My husband wanted to clean up his face so he clearly mentioned normal clean up but the fair lady ( Assamese lady) she did some lotus clean up hardly for 15 mins and charged 2,000Rs. Rs 2,000only for cheek and forehead because they have beard and moustache so they don't apply which is a total waste.I recommend this place only for hair cut and no other clean up or de tan.

DMH Unisex Salon is a salon located in the residential area of Mannagudda. DMH stands for Do My Hair and the man behind it all is Prathap Bhandary. His expertise in hair cuts are to a different level. If you feel like getting a haircut but unsure of the style, just step into DMH and Prathap will advise you on the best style and cut for you. I have been visiting DMH since the day it opened. Most of my family who live in Mangalore, or the relatives and friends who visit Mangalore - especially those who reside out of India, love visiting DMH for their salon needs. There is ample two and four wheeler parking. Since it's located on a cross road, there is not much traffic. Upon entering the front door, you can find the reception area with two black sofas and the receptionist counter. If you have gone ahead and made an appointment, then you will not have to wait. If you just walk in on the spur of the moment, chances are you will have to wait until your stylist is free. I always make an appointment especially if I'm particular about the person who does the services. There is a rate card kept with the Receptionist so you can go through it and decide on what services to get done. This is helpful when you are making your initial visit. From the reception area, there is an entry way which will lead you to a private room to the right hand side. Clients who want to sit in pin drop silence and sit solo can get their services done in this room. As I prefer long hair, I normally cut it only twice or three times a year. Prathap cuts my hair according to the style that suits me. He also suggests the best hair color for my texture and length of hair especially since I have a lot of greys! For all my other salon needs, such as waxing, threading, pedicure, manicure and straightening, I always request for Karen. She is a true professional when it comes to all these services. I'm sure all the ladies out there will cringe when they think of waxing. But when Karen does it, especially for sensitive areas like the face, you will not even feel as if you are getting your face waxed! I would suggest you try Reca Wax which is less painful than the sugar wax which we are all used to using since our college days. Trust me on this one - you will thank me later! Once you start using this type of wax, the hair growth is much slower. This means you don't have to wax as often as you used to. There are three rooms at the back of the salon where you can get waxing, facials, de tan and touch ups done. It's so quiet in these rooms that you might even fall asleep while getting a facial. The bathroom is located next to the third room. It is used by the staff and clients. You may have to visit especially if you are at DMH for a few hours In the main hall, you will find 5 comfortable leather salon chairs and a washing area with two sinks. The ambiance is very bright. The interiors are done up in black and white colors. When it comes to the services for the men, they have a long list to choose from starting with the standard haircut and shaving. Some of the common services for men and women include: head massage, pedicure, foot massage, manicure, hair spa, de tan and facial. Adjacent to the main hall is the Pedicure and Manicure Room. There is space for two clients to be seated. Enjoy watching T.V. or listening to your favorite music as you make your feet and hands look pretty. Throughout the year, DMH will have different salon packages (offers) to choose from. You can get a set of services at a more affordable price. They have Bridal Packages for both the Bride and Groom. Start your pre wedding preparations at DMH by getting a facial, haircut, waxing, pedicure, manicure, etc. One of the stylists is also trained in doing hairstyles, make up and saree draping. Visiting a salon - especially the first visit - can be a scary thought. I can assure you that once you visit DMH, you will keep going back. They care about quality, giving good service and ensuring you keep coming back. Payment can be made by Cash, Card or UPI.

Very bad service.I've gone there before and it was decently good. But then this time .. I went there with a clean back for detan .. but was recommended detan and waxing .. it's been one month now and I have big red bumps all over my back .. I do not know if the product was expired or the skin on my back was too sensitive but I'm extremely disappointed this time .. as I had gone just one day before an event and the very next I got these on my arm and back and it never reduced . I infact waited very patiently for it to reduce but it did not .. I have even consulted dermatologist and applied lotions and powders and nothing seems to work on this and when I approached the salon .. they did not give me any solution for this. I really regret going here and will never visit this place again. The service was also expensive and supposed to be of good quality.. but I never thought this would happen I have uploaded pictures of the same.

Very unprofessional! I chose to visit this salon only based on the reviews which mentioned Prathap as a very a good hair stylist. I reached the salon 30mins late from my apointment time fixed with Prathap for my haircut. Hence I checked with the receptionist if Prathap was still available. She confirmed that he would be back in few mins and Prathap instructed his crew to get my hair wash done. I again specifically stressed to the receptionist that Im ok to cancel my hair cut if Prathap is not able to make it. But she reassured that he would be back and do my hair cut. Post washing my hair in 5 mins the receptionist connects me to Prathap on call and he tells that some other guy will cut my hair by phrasing he is a good stylist. I just walked out of the salon. Felt cheated by creating a situation to still get business. Prathap has built up an identity as a good stylist but seem to be not keen to maintain it by being so curt in his profession. PATHETIC SERVICE!

Perfect Haircut session after ages. Loved it!

Its a good salon with professional staff. They provide good hospitality but i felt that the price was a bit high, not very high but more than other competitive unisex salons. You can visit this salon for sure and i recommend it too

Pratap is one of the best hair dressers on Mangalore. The place is clean and hygienic. The interiors are great so is the staff and their service. I highly recommend DMH salon
