Toni and Guy Essensuals Kottayam

Never visit this branch of TONI&GUY. This place is not safe. I have always been a loyal customer of TONI&GUY but this single visit to another branch completely destroyed my trust in the brand. 1. My father requested to have his hair and beard dyed black. I specifically asked if the product they were using was safe, and they assured me it was, mentioning it was a Wella brand, ammonia-free, and safe. However, when the job was done, it looked like my father's head had been dipped in black paint. His scalp was stained black, and his beard was completely obscured by the dye. They spent over an hour scrubbing and rubbing his scalp and beard with aftershave oil and water, but nothing worked. This excessive scrubbing caused his skin to hurt, turn red, and even swell in some areas. The next day was my brother's wedding, and we were devastated by how my father looked. My mother was in tears. The staff, realizing their mistake, quickly removed the person responsible from the scene, and we never saw him again. They offered only lame excuses when we complained. 2. If you still plan to visit this branch, be prepared for aggressive sales tactics. We were a group of five, each with specific services requested. However, once we were taken to different rooms for facials and haircuts, the staff spent several minutes trying to upsell more expensive services. I was firm and clear about what I wanted, but my mother, who wasn't as sure, ended up being persuaded to get services she didn't need. They also tried to fool us with a supposed 10-20% discount, which was negated by inflated prices and taxes. In short, this branch of TONI&GUY is untrustworthy, with poor service and dishonest practices. We deeply regret choosing this place and strongly advise others to stay away. UPDATE: After I returned to Canada, the person who was the head/lead at the store when we visited in July 2024 called me on WhatsApp a few months later, in December 2024, offering me money to take down my review. If they had genuinely apologized that day, I wouldn't have even posted the review in the first place. Now, he's reaching out, offering me money to remove it because it might affect his promotion. Seriously?

I had an awesome experience today in tony&guy for skin brightening treatment which done by staffs was supremely talented with team skills and impressive professionalism which mad me full of joy. Followed by hair cut section they was extremely good with the skills and iam very happy with results to the entire team for hospitality and services thanks a lot guyzz. .1 the important things to hygiene it was very awesome the team was expecting 5 star rating because of their work and efficiently personal happy to there works I am not regular customer first time i meet there team and i must come to tony&guy essential. I had a very disappointing experience at Tony n guy Samkranthy. I went in for hair botos treatment,They pressured me into paying extra for services overcharged me for the shampoo which was very poor quality. Now my hair looks very bad and the shampoo they gave is not a good product.I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for honest pricing and good service.

I had a very disappointing experience at Tony n guy Samkranthy. I went in for a facial, but the staff, especially Anaya, was extremely rude and unprofessional. They pressured me into paying extra for services I didn't ask for and overcharged me without any prior discussion. When I questioned the bill, their attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. This is not how customers should be treated. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for honest pricing and good service.
