Worst Experience with Jancy makeup Artist I hired her for my brother's reception makeup and unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst experience I've ever had. Initially, I trusted her work based on her social media following (20,000 followers), but I was severely disappointed. 1. Hygiene Issues & Allergies: I've never had any allergic reactions to makeup before, but this time, I experienced swollen eyes and breakouts. She applied makeup using her hands instead of brushes, which was extremely unhygienic. 2. Poor Product Quality: She started with light, ineffective coverage that left scars visible. I had to insist she build up the foundation. She initially used Maybelline Fit Me products, which are not suitable for bridal makeup, and only switched to NARS foundation after I questioned her. 3. Hair Extensions & Accessories: This artist used used extensions on the bride, which is completely unacceptable. I had to return the extensions and accessories after paying for them, as she claimed she needed them urgently for another event. To make matters worse, she lied about picking them up on the same day, and my family had to recover them from the trash. 4. Unskilled Support Team: The two assistants she brought were untrained. One could only straighten hair and had no clue about makeup or curls. 5. Time Mismanagement: She arrived half an hour late and took three hours on the bride instead of the promised one and a half hours. This delayed the entire function, and I was late for my brother's event. 6. Disappointing Results: Even the bride's mother's makeup was poorly done. None of us were satisfied with the work, and the overall outcome was far below expectations. She is unprofessional, cunning, and plays on emotions to avoid complaints. I would never recommend her to anyone. This was a truly frustrating and disappointing experience. Also, she increased the amount once the makeup was done. She demanded for twice the amount that was discussed while booking.
