I go here to get my hair washed, deep conditioned, trimmed, and silk pressed. All the staff is super friendly. Ana speaks predominantly Spanish and communicating can be a little strained if you only speak English, but she does her best. She does an amazing wash and condition. They have services and products meant for natural curly hair too. The owner is amazing and so friendly they make you feel like family. This will forever be my spot for great service and wonderful prices.

Called the number and asked how much for a wash and blowout, was quoted $25 on the phone depending on length or thickness( I have neither) but when it came time to pay she told me it was $45. I had a concert that night and didn't have any time to stay and argue, when I messaged the stylist the next day to discuss the price issue she Immediately got defensive and started asking me if it was personal. She then told me to ask my friend who recommended me to this place to confirm that the price is $45 for a haircut and $60 if I add in a blowout confirming my price of $25 for the blowout. She then told me it was because she put rollers in, then it was because she's a deep conditioner in, (she didn't) and I explained to her that if that was the reason I should've been told that before she did the services and had the chance to either accept or deny those services for an additional $20. she then told me I wasn't getting my money back and that the stylist gets to decide The price. I told her if she could show me anywhere written down that it's $45, I'd be OK with the price. Again she got super Defensive. This salon seems to change the prices and make them up at the end, and don't have them posted anywhere to prove them wrong. Even on the call, she got mixed up and told me that blow outs are $25 but because it just seem to be a miscommunication again, I wasn't getting my money back. Would not recommend coming too much of headache and they will over charge you.

I made an appointment a day prior in which we agreed to a time because the stylist said she was away in Florida and would be back around a certain time way before my appointment was scheduled. I arrived at the place & the stylist I was booked with still wasn't there & she had not notified me that she didn't even land yet because her flight was delayed from what I heard from the other employees in the salon. I drove here all the way from school right after my classes & so very disappointing and unprofessional that she didn't even call me to let me know that her flight was delayed and wouldn't make it in time. No one else was able to accommodate the haircut I was booked for and so again very disappointed.

I am constantly impressed by the haircuts and styles, shop owner Biensy, does on me. I leave happy and looking stylish every time I frequent this establishment. If you haven't already, definitely check out Dominican Styles.

I've been coming to Dominican Styles for over a decade. Highlights, color, cut, Botox... I've done all of these services and have walked out a satisfied customer every time. Literally have been stopped on the street inquiring about my color. Come check out Biensy and her team!

I have only been two times to the Dominican style for my haircut. The first time the experience was amazing, as the owner (female lady) cut my hair. She did a marvelous job. On the second time, I met a new male barber (not sure what his name is) - he is the worst barber I have ever seen in my life, as he was very rough during my hair cutting, plus he used the machines in my hair with an unprofessional way which was kinda hurting my skin. Also, he charge me more money compared to the lady barber as it was the same style of hair cut. If you are visiting the Dominican style for a haircut, I encourage you to cut your hair from a lady there as she would be more professional in her job, as compare to that guy.

Haircut was amazing, the hairstylist knew exactly what to do. My hair has never felt or looked better!
