Rising Day Spa

Booked for the indulge me package and added a 1h full body massage that I had bought on Grab One. The massage and the facial part of the package were wonderful! But the << spa >> mani-pedi was quite terrible. No cuticle care, nail shape, exfoliating scrub massage or pressure massage as it is mentioned on their website. The beautician who did my nails was really struggling tho apply properly the gel polish. She hadn't taken her cardigan off and the way she was holding my fingers she kept rubbing it on my nails which left some stains and bits of fabric on them. When she moved on to pedicure she was awkwardly sitting on the floor in what I imagine wasn't the most confortable position. And it was just a very basic application of polish which wasn't even done properly. So all in all I may come back for the massage but definitely not to get my nails done.

I was gifted a 1hr massage as a birthday/postpartum gift. The massage itself was awesome, I liked the ambiance, it felt really relaxing. My massage therapist found all of my knots in my shoulders (new mum life) and was pleasantly surprised when arms and legs massage also felt amazing I even got a tingle in my head when she pressed a point in my foot, like an acupressure point. Only giving four stars because after a while, the towel around the head hole of the massage table for quite uncomfortable and left me with some indents (nothing major, just probably looked a bit funny going back through town!). The pump bottle of the massage oil was places on the massage table by my head - didn't really go with the relax vibe - as well as someone decided to do some paint stripping next door or something (not sure they had control over that though). Overall, it was truly awesome, staff were really friendly (even though I was 5 mins late to the appointment), the massage itself was amazing, and the glass of water offered afterwards was heavenly.

Such a wonderful experience since the moment I walked through the door. Very warm & welcoming. My massage put me to sleep it was that good!! As someone who never gets massages, I was educated with the treatments being done and have a better knowledge base on how to treat my skin!! My facial I received was incredible & left me feeling like a million dollars! Would 200% recommend Rising Day Spa to everyone & will 1000% be coming back for more treatments! Thank you!

My partner and I had the one hour massage followed by a facial (partner), and I had a pedicure. Rachael my massage therapist did an excellent job, and Sanjeeni who did my pedicure, made me feel relaxed and well tended to. Would go again :)

Came here with a Grabone voucher for a 1 hour massage and it was pure bliss that I almost fell asleep. Gin was really lovely and made me feel at ease. Because I'm ticklish, she was happy to adjust her techniques. Will be back :)

So nice I used twice. Came to Rising Day Spa right off my 17 hour flight from the US. Received a facial from Sanjini and massage from Marion. Both really friendly, professional gals. Felt great, my skin was dewy and hydrated. My muscles nice and relaxed. I came back on my last day in Wellington before catching my flight home for another facial. I highly recommend.

Got the 1 hour relaxation massage at Rising Day Spa with Marion. She was professional and friendly, and made me feel at ease. The massage was great with the perfect amount of pressure and I have booked regular visits since.

Very kind and relaxed staff, excellent hands and knowledge! I felt very well looked after and a bit sleepy after a super relaxing massage. I was asked many times if the pressure was ok and feeling good. Will definitely be back.
