The Finishing Touch

This is by far the best nail salon in Wellington. Kathy and her team are perfectionists and exceptionable knowledgeable about nail health. I would never get my nails anywhere else. However, the Finishing Touch is not just a nail salon, their beauty treatments are also top notch. I can't recommend Caitlin's spray tans highly enough. And to top it all off Jan on reception is just amazing. Thank you ladies for simply making my life better

I got a spray tan at The Finishing Touch recently and I'm so impressed! I felt really comfortable and well looked after by the team, and it's turned out flawless. I would definitely recommend.

Just had my nails done by Gabby, and I'm obsessed. She understood exactly what I was after and delivered a final product beyond my expectations. My grandmother had her nails done by Ruba (apologies if I spelled your name incorrectly!!!), she's over the moon and can't wait to show her friend Barbs tomorrow. 11/10 can't stop lookin at them (historically I'm not a nails person but I can't wait to go back!)

I've been having my nails done and other treatments at the Finishing Touch for years and I have never left disappointed. Kathy and her staff are extremely knowledgeable, welcoming, and quite frankly, amazing. You will not experience a more hygienic salon in Wellington. In fact, you'll leave feeling uplifted and happy! Shoutout to Jan too who is a wizard in accommodating last minute requests and changes. Just love this place!

The Finishing Touch went above and beyond for my daughters baby shower this weekend. A lovely area for us to sit and celebrate whilst some had treatments and we were treated so well. Thank you! It really made the whole experience so wonderful x

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I wanted to share my experience here. I've had a lot of Brazilian waxes, and this one was the most painful I've ever experienced. The technician was really nice and seemed to do her best, but I think she could use some more training to improve her technique. What really prompted me to write this review was my interaction with the receptionist at checkout. She was rude and had a dismissive attitude, which really affected my overall experience. Customer service matters just as much as the service itself, and I hope management can address this for future customers.

I've had my nails looked after by Kathy for several years, and she always does a fantastic job. The staff are friendly and professional, and the salon is always clean and well presented. The team go the extra mile to fit in with my schedule, and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended.

2 years ago I had the most horrendous, bitten nails. Thankfully, I found Kathy and her team at The Finishing Touch. She was able to restore my nails and I can't believe how different they are today. All the staff are attentive, warm and welcoming. Kathy is always professional and precise. She takes a lot of pride in her work and the results are fabulous. They also provide tea/coffee and a delightful chocolate fish! The salon is impeccably clean and their hygiene is excellent. (using only your own nail files) I would highly recommend.
