Sunanda Makeover

We booked Sunanda Sahoo for a special family occasion, and it was a decision I deeply regret. Despite taking an advance payment and assuring timely service, her team failed to show up on time. Sunanda ignored my calls, leaving us helpless on an important day. She eventually sent a replacement artist who was completely unqualified for the job and ruined the services requested by us and disrupted the complete event. Her dismissive attitude and complete lack of accountability were shocking. Avoid her services at all costs.

PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS MAKEUP ARTIST OR HER ASSOCIATES. I booked Sunanda Sahoo for my guests' Mehendi a few weeks ago in Puri. She was quick to respond, share prices, and accept an advance payment. On the day of the Mehendi, however, no artists showed up. I called Sunanda some 20 times but she did not answer my calls even once. Later, she asked a makeup artist to double-up as the mehendi artist and hold the fort. The makeup artist was terrible at mehendi and messed up the mehendi of a number of my relatives, including my mother. The assigned mehendi artists arrived 2 and a half hours late. The mismanagement was so severe that the on-day payment did not include a deduction of the advance paid to Sunanda. Sunanda and her associated caused irreparable damage to my event. For days afterwards, it was impossible to get in touch with Sunanda to receive a refund of the advance paid. What utterly shocked me was Sunanda's arrogance. She was neither apologetic about the delay nor did her voice reflect any understanding of the damage caused. She was uncourteous, aggressive, and when confronted, quick to terminate the call. A truly shameless and unprofessional businessperson. My sincere advice to anyone reading this is to avoid hiring her.

A Nightmare Service! This salon completely ruined my friends wedding event. We had booked a full package, but the mehendi artists didn't even show up. The makeup artists tried to compensate but failed miserably. When we contacted Sunanda, she was rude and said it wasn't her responsibility to manage everything. The makeup for the bride and bridal party was subpar, and the team charged extra on the spot for no reason. This place is a scam, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely terrible experience with this salon. They offer mehendi services for events and we had hired mehendi artists from them in addition to makeup artists. The mehendi artists never turned up despite having been paid an advance. The makeup artists doubled up as mehendi artists and were terrible at it. Sunanda herself refused to pick up calls or help solve this instead telling us that she had multiple engagements that day and couldn't possibly be expected to keep up with every one of them. Further the makeup artists charged extra for the makeup for other members of the bridal party despite the package we had bought including make up for them. Sunanda herself is incredibly rude, unprofessional and incommunicative.

Bad mehendi, Bad makeup and pathetic hairstyle Extremely poor service at a very high cost. Ruined my photographs. Ruined my moment. On complaining, she neither received my call, nor called back. Very unprofessional.

Total disappointment! The services were delayed, overpriced, and poorly done. The management doesn't care about their customers.
