My recent visit to Tenkasi Junction Railway Station was quite disappointing due to a couple of significant issues that need to be addressed urgently. Firstly, the lifts were out of order. This made it incredibly difficult to navigate through different platforms, especially since I had heavy bags to carry and traveling with elderly relatives who have mobility issues. We expect basic amenities like lifts to be in working condition, and it was disheartening to see them neglected. Additionally, I found the restrooms were locked and inaccessible to the public. The lack of available restroom facilities at a public transportation hub is not only inconvenient but also unacceptable. Passengers rely on these facilities to be clean, operational, and available when travelling long distances. The combination of non-working lifts and locked restrooms compounded the difficulties of navigating the station and added unnecessary stress to my journey. It is imperative that the station authorities take action to ensure that amenities are functioning correctly and that they are accessible to all passengers at all times. I hope that this review highlights the need for immediate attention to these issues and that they will be resolved promptly for the comfort and convenience of all passengers who use the Tenkasi Junction Railway Station.

Tenkasi Railway Station, being one of the oldest connecting points between Kerala and Tamil Nadu, has a significant historical value. However, it's disheartening to hear about your recent negative experience with railway police. Consistent efforts are needed to ensure a positive and safe travel environment for passengers, and improvements in staff conduct can contribute to a better overall experience.

One of the well maintained and clean railway station. There is a coach position digital LCD board on every platform which mainly used for passengers.... it's very near to the tenkasi Sivan temple... easily accessible by walk you can reach it in 10mins..

Very clean.. highly maintained... Has a good look.. and very good atmosphere.... Also has a very good view of hills...... It is less crowded... So easy to get a seat for unreservation coach... It is the last junction in tamilnadu to Kerala border............ Shops are less...... A small railway junction......

A very convenient railway junction. Well maintained, usually crowded. Very few shops are available to get food and snacks. Rest rooms and waiting rooms are available and maintained well. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Auto taxis are available outside station.
