Manik's Salon

I got a fade haircut and beard shaping at Manik's. I'm really happy with the result. The quality of service was great. I booked an appointment beforehand.

It was my first visit and definitely my last. The worst kind of unprofessionalism one could come across. We arrived for an 1145 appointment only to be told that Manik, the hair stylist wasn't there!! The lift wasn't working which was not informed to us at the time of booking the appointment. Walking up the staircase itself was a nightmare. Filthy, stinking, and smelling like a public urinal. On reaching the Salon, the staff kept saying that Manik is on his way which was a blatant lie because finally at 1245 hrs, when we spoke to Manik he said he was still at home and waiting for a cab. In the meantime we had some saleswoman trying to push other services to us. On the way back we were taken by the service lift which entailed going through Barbque Nation, the kitchen, dish washing area etc. Never to be repeated again experience!!

Bad parking, stinking dark and unsafe. No proper entry , don't know if the lift works. Stinking dirty staircase. I wanted a hair cut and Manik was pushing for doing some hair keratin or something only after which will the haircut be done. I just needed a haircut. Driving down all the way to waste my time. The way he spoke seemed so commercial, not the same attitude as earlier. for a change can't you just do what the customer wants? We don't always need a 'what is best' opinion. I was happy to leave. Never going back and would not recommend at all anymore. I have recommended this salong in 2012 to two of my family friends and they still continue to go till date. As for me, I need cleanliness professionalism and I want the stylist to do what I want with MY hair. It's very easy to say 8k or 9k for whatever treatment , I ain't gonna fall for it nor keep quite about it.

I've had my hair cut and treated. I've been treated by the salon owner personally. He is a pleasant and professional individual. Tanya and I also did a manicure and pedicure. She does her job really well, too. I want to thank the whole staff for creating such a beautiful atmosphere.

Mr. Mubbek (apologies if I'm mispronouncing the name) did a tremendous job with my hair coloring, giving me an amazing new look. Not only was the color perfect, but his customer service was also top-notch!

Great customer service and skilled hairdressers. Manik has a team of professionals. I love it always when I come here. Special appreciation for Mukim, who did hair spa and a great massage!!
