I've been a regular customer at this salon for some time and have generally been happy with the service. However, my recent experience left me extremely upset and disappointed. I had a shellac manicure done last week, and it started chipping within a few days--something that has happened in the past, but the salon had always fixed it free of charge within their 7-day policy. This time, however, I was suddenly told I would be charged PS5 per finger, with no prior warning or notice of this change. When I questioned this based on my past experiences, I was made to speak to the owner over the phone. Rather than offering an explanation, the owner accused me of not supporting small businesses and told me, "If you mistreat us, we will mistreat you." I was stunned and left the salon shaking and really upset. It's incredibly disappointing to be treated this way, especially as a loyal customer. I believe businesses should be transparent, consistent, and respectful in how they handle their clients. Sadly, I won't be returning.

I was looking to get my nails refreshed after being in hospital and not being able to go outside for a month, my usual nail salon didn't have space and were trying to get me to have something else done, when all I wanted was to get my old gel nails removed and a fresh design put on. I saw Hadi's on Google and messaged them, they managed to fit me in on the same day. When I arrived they were so welcoming and friendly and my nails look and feel amazing! 2 weeks later and they still look fantastic and feel strong. 10/10! I will be coming back again xx

I've had dipping powder done every month for over a year here - my nails are in perfect condition and perfectly done every time. Couldn't recommend Hadis and her team more highly!! Extremely skilled and such a lovely environment. Best beauty spot in Brighton by miles.

Best most consistently high quality nails in Brighton and I've tried a few places. Hadis is so lovely and has great attention to detail. I've had gels and more recently switched to dipping powder.

I've been going to Shadi for my hair cut and hair colour since the salon moved to its current location at Church Road. I've had 3 visits in the last 6 months and have enjoyed the hair pampering each time. I have naturally dark South-East Asian hair and Shadi has managed to change my hair colour to blonde/ash blonde without damaging my hair. My first visit was in March when I had my long hair chopped off and went for a long blonde bob. The long-awaited second visit was after lockdown when I had shorter and lighter blonde bob. The third visit was in September for a root touch-up. In all three occasions, Shadi has been a perfectionist and have taken his time to ensure my hair feels healthy and looks great. Furthermore, the beauty section of Shadi's Salon has been revived by the arrival of a multi-skilled beauty therapist. Hadis offers a range of beauty treatments, so far I have trialled 4 in the least 6 weeks. These are eyebrow threading, eyelash lift and tint, Shellac hands and Shellac feet. I am very happy with the results and would definitely keep going back to Hadis for my aesthetic needs. Update May 2021: I have been lucky to have had my hair colour changed to Cerise/Plum in Dec 2020 before the winter lockdown. Shadi used a semi-permanent dye which nicely faded into a pink cotton candy shade in January 2021 after several washes. As soon as we were given a date for hairdressers to open in April 2021, I quickly booked my hair for another colour change. This time I went for a blonde copper bob ala 'Christina Hendricks' in Mad Men. I enjoy experimenting with all these colour changes and have been so lucky to have found a great colourist in Shadi and his apprentice Lana. I don't normally write reviews unless I am truly happy with the services/products I have tried myself. However, I have gladly recommended Shadi's Beauty Spot to my friends and colleagues because I know Shadi and his team will do a great job and make sure their customers are happy.

First time going there, Hadis made my first visit unforgettable. She's skilled, friendly, and made me feel right at home. And my nails look fantastic; highly recommend!
