I'm so grateful to have found Top Knot Salon & academy ! Your team specially Nupur has become like family to me, and I appreciate everything you do to make me look and feel my best. I'm absolutely thrilled with my bridal makeup! Ravi did an incredible job of making me feel like the best version of myself on my special day. Nupur and Ravi were so friendly, professional, and made me feel at ease on my big day. Both are an absolute gem, and I feel so lucky to have had them as part of my wedding team.

Had a great experience at The Top Knot. The salon is clean and welcoming. Got a facial done by Sadhna -- she was professional, gentle, and really understood my skin needs. My face felt refreshed and glowing afterward. Highly recommend her services.

Extremely Disappointing Experience - May 11 I had a deeply unpleasant and distressing experience at your salon on May 11. Despite having made full payment in advance, the services provided were highly unprofessional and unacceptable. Poor Facilities & Discomfort My friends and I were crammed into a small room with the AC turned off. Despite repeated complaints about feeling suffocated, the staff insisted it was on - it clearly wasn't. This was not only uncomfortable but also disrespectful. Unskilled Staff & Painful Hair Styling The stylist in a blue kurta and jeans handled my hair very roughly, poking hairpins into my scalp multiple times despite being reminded. She refused to even show me the bun she made, claiming there was no mirror available and that I needed to go upstairs. How is that acceptable? Disastrous Saree Draping The saree draping was terrible. I wore a chiffon saree, and instead of handling it delicately, the stylist used excessive safety pins (including four just for the pleats), resulting in an extremely unflattering and uncomfortable drape. I had to refuse a redo as I had already lost confidence. Eventually, a male staff member had to step in to assist. Unprofessional Management Ms. Anjali Mishra, who was supposed to be the manager, was completely disconnected from what was going on. She showed no awareness or responsibility and was only concerned about collecting cash - despite full payment having already been made. She even approached the bride-to-be to ask for more payment, which was shocking. Invasion of Privacy & Mismanagement The room door was kept open, and male staff were moving in and out freely - one even sat right in front of us while we were getting ready. This was highly inappropriate and made us extremely uncomfortable. Miscommunication & Overcharging We had asked for just two gajras for bun decoration, but the staff ordered 14 meters without explanation. When questioned, there was no reasonable justification given. It seemed the focus was more on making money than on customer service. Neglecting the Bride After the bridal makeup and lehenga draping, the AC was again turned off. The bride came downstairs visibly upset. Ms. Mishra had no answers and instead tried to cover up the salon's repeated shortcomings. While two male staff members did show empathy and tried to assist us, their efforts came too late to salvage the experience. Conclusion: This experience was extremely disappointing, especially given the high amount paid. The staff - particularly the female team - displayed zero professionalism, empathy, or skill. We will never return to this salon and strongly advise others to avoid it as well. I urge the owner to seriously reconsider the current staff and service quality. Customers deserve respect, professionalism, and value for their money - not this kind of treatment.

The worst bridal makeup artist, Ms Shanti and her team from Top Knot Makeup academy, lucknow. I got the bridal makeup, hair and draping done in Feb 2025 which turned out to be disaster as they didn't know how to do hair as I gave them the reference, didn't place my centre mangtika properly, also they didn't know how to even open the cancan of my bridal lehenga. They charged complete money plus extra 600 just to bring 4 roses. I think every bride should feel extra special on her The Big Day but this makeup academy and the MUA Shanti and her team ruined my special day.. very very disappointed.

The services at top knot are amazing, i got hair treatment olaplex from vasim he is a great hairstylist and the treatment is also good. Also as for body laser i get it from pooja she is very understanding and always give great responses till now all the services i got from topknot are worth.
