Before getting the treatment, I went to this salon specifically to ask: "Is there any treatment that can keep my hair silky, smooth, weighted and straight permanently, without damage?" I was clearly told that botosmooth would do exactly that -- unlike keratin, this would last longer, keep hair smooth and straight (60-70%) on the treated portion, and only new hair would grow naturally. Trusting their advice, I spent 9000 on the treatment and 3000 on the recommended aftercare products. I had no prior knowledge, so I believed what they promised and assumed the result would match their claims. After the treatment, they also trimmed my split ends. But within a short time, my hair ends started curling again. Since I was a regular customer for other services like skin care and threading, I mentioned this concern to them many times. Every time, they dismissed it saying, "It's because of your haircut, this happens." Months passed, and the frizz increased. When I finally messaged them with my concern, I was asked to visit the salon. I did -- hoping for a genuine resolution. But all they did was a basic hair wash, saying I probably don't wash my hair properly at home. Then they said, "No treatment is permanent." But that is not what I was told at the beginning. I trusted their suggestion for a permanent-like solution, and they never clarified otherwise. I also tried to revive the texture with a 1700 spa, and even purchased another 1000 shampoo when the earlier one got over -- all in hopes that things would improve. But today, after spending over 14,000 as a student, I'm back to frizzy hair and no proper answer or support. I'm writing this not to complain, but so others can ask clear questions, get everything in writing, and not trust vague promises. It's not just about money -- it's about trust and professionalism. And I didn't feel either of those were honoured.
