Golden Mirror Unisex saloon

I had an horrible experience at Golden Mirror. Will never visit here again. Please DO NOT visit this place. There are so many better places in Haldwani. Untrained salon worker who doesn't know how to do basics like threading and waxing. Poorly maintained with no cleanliness. They are reusing the same changing disposable gowns for multiple customers. Charges are more than normal considering the pathetic services they are providing.

"Disappointing Shaving Experience I visited this salon for a shave, but the experience was far from satisfactory. The person who attended to me seemed nervous and inexperienced. His shaving technique was amateurish, and he appeared to be unsure of how to use the razor. He didn't seem to know the right amount of shaving foam to use, and he only made one pass, resulting in a less-than-clean shave. Normally, a good shave requires at least two passes. The final blow came when I was asked to pay 100 for this subpar service. I was shocked, especially considering the salon's location in Haldwani. In metro cities, a mid-range salon would charge around 60 for a shave. The price didn't match the quality of service and location. Lesson Learned In hindsight, I should have inquired about the price before getting the shave. Live and learn - next time, I'll make sure to clarify the cost upfront.

Location = centrally located Services = all men and women grooming services available Located at panchakki road (near palak banquet hall), this place has some amazing facilities for their customers. Although some people may find it a little bit expensive, but i can say that the services which they provide are worth it. The staff is super friendly and eager to help. Have a visit once and see it yourself.. Thank you

Note: Its a long review... read it till the end :D When my wedding got fixed the only thing I was worried about was the makeup artist.. I have lived in cities like Delhi and Bangalore and I didn't trust the quality of services that parlours provide in a small town like Haldwani. I was going through different salons online to chose one for my bridal and pre bridal services and that's when i came across GOLDEN MIRROR UNISEX SALON which has a very good rating. I went through all the reviews and was quite satisfied with them. I called them up and from the first conversation with Mamta Mam who was my Makeup artist I was so impressed. She asked me to visit the salon and from day 1 she has been so humble and sweet. She gave me the exact treatments i needed for my skin. I was badly tanned at that time and with the facials she recommended all my tanning got removed and my skin was glowing. They have great offers on bridal as well as pre bridal and they use all professional and herbal products as per your skin. I was very happy with my pre bridal services and then came the big day of my wedding. My wedding happened amidst lockdown and it was supposed to happen in Haldwani , but just one week before the wedding the plan got changed and my wedding happened from Almora and i was so worried because i wanted Mamta Mam to do my makeup. I called her late at night and told her the plan has changed and she told me to trust in her and told me that she will do my makeup in such a way that it will remain intact till my wedding. And when I say this... trust me ... She did a phenomenal job on my makeup... I got ready in haldwani at her studio and travelled to almora by car, its a 3 hr travel and I was looking as fresh as i could have imagined. The makeup was on point. I was surprised myself and when my husband and their family saw me they just couldn't stop appreciating how beautiful i look. Everyone complimented me and I was on cloud 9. Choosing GOLDEN MIRROR and MAMTA MAM as my make up artist was the best decision i made for my wedding. I would highly highly recommend her salon for any kind of services. A huge shoutout to her staff - Hema Di, Shalini and Neema. All of them are so dedicated in their work and made the experience even more beautiful.
