I had an absolutely wonderful experience. They work with high quality products ; shampoo / conditioner so had a very relaxing "hair wash". My "hair ironing" was just fantastic ! Meenu is lovely and is very kind. She goes out of the way to help and I suppose if one is traveling solo , that's what one needs. I wasn't sure where exactly the parlour is so she actually came to pick me up which was so considerate on her part. The girls at the parlour were were sweet and considerate. All in all a very professional parlour and I highly recommend "Meenu Beauty Parlor" and "The Pink beauty salon" to everyone !!

Meenu, the owner is AMAZING! This is one of her locations, and I went to the wrong one so she came and picked me up on her scooty to get to the right one. Then the waxing was all homemade and natural and did not hurt at all... seriously. Wow. The eyebrow threading was one of the best I've ever had, it didn't hurt one bit, and it was super affordable! She has so many services and I can't wait to go back. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Thanks meenu (:

Meenu is amazing she did both my daughter and I for her wedding day. She took the time to make sure every detail looked good with our hair and makeup. Meenu does amazing henna work as well. She is the best in rishikish and can do anything you want with your hairstyle, makeup, nails and clothing.

Meenu is so nice and I felt really welcome and good at her salon! She makes her own wax and it was a quick treatment. Can recommend going there! Thanks!

Pros: Meenu was extremely friendly, she had a staff of three girls attending with her, she has two shops Pink Beauty and Meenu's beauty parlor on other side of river for convenience. She let me keep the nail polish we used for free, the prices were extremely affordable, and she had herbal facials for foreigners who tend to request those as opposed to the synthetic facials the locals request. The foot massage was okay. Cons: When I had asked for just a hair trim for split ends, she simply pulled my hair back and cut twice, leaving the hair at the beginning of my head now longer than the hair she trimmed in the back causing an extremely uneven fall of my hair now. I have weak nails and when she used the metal file, she would exert enough force to rebreak my nails. A simple back and forth would have been enough to shape them without causing further damage. The rosewater used on the face was synthetic. A staff member that she had do my threading had a heavy cold and coughed towards my nasal tracts twice, and I now have a cold as well. The facial massage was rough around the eye orbits, and didn't follow along of the direction of the facial muscles. The nails on my toes are uneven from the pedicure. But the part that bothered me most was that she fibbed about knowing where my yoga school was and so she said she would come to my yoga school to do henna for the girls and that she had been to my yoga school before, which is impressive because it is Rishikesh Yogpeeth which is a 20 minute trek up a mountain towards Patna village. I got really excited about this and went around to each girl asking them all, but when she asked me for the location and I was confused as to why she wouldn't know where the school was if she had been here before, she pulled out from coming to do henna for us before our graduation. Yes, it is a hike, but I am sad she fibbed about knowing where my school was, wasting my time and energy from my own studies here. The services may not have been equal to the costs, considering I have quite a bit of scabbing on my chin and my eyebrows were further shaped than I wanted, and I have to pay to fix my hair back at home, and I now am sick on my last week here.

This lady, ong she is the sweetest! Meenu thank you very much, even you were not feeling so well you make a room for me! Eternally grateful to her. She made the was by herself using a mix of sugar, aloe, lemon and bee wax. My skin feels amazing after this. Thank you very much!
